Canterbury Club, Other Groups, Halfway Through 2015 Campaign
The Canterbury Racing Club, managed by GRS, is back in action for 2015. The Club closed with 154 members for 2015 and is currently in the process of horse shopping with trainer Clay Brinson. There were slim pickens at Hawthorne so we geared up and got aggresive early in the Canterbury meet.
The Club claimed Tens Wild for $10,000 and was able to get a win out of him at $16,000. He'll be back before the end of the meet in the same type of spot mist likely.
The Club also claimed Citron Kid for $16,000 and he ran a flat 4th for the group in his first out. He'll be back in another week or so, perhaps a rung under where we got it,
Graduates of the Canterbury Club have formed their own partnership, CAC Racing LLC. The group closed out with 32 members. We privately puchased the very curious Mr Lexis (above). He had a few rough starts for the group and then was claimed away at $20,000 with his best finish being a 3rd at Arlington. We're shopping for our next cadidate right now.
